Science at Seabridge:
At Seabridge we want to create scientist that and inquisitive and ask questions about the world around them. As our children move through the school, we believe that they should become increasingly more aware of the different disciplines - Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Characteristics of a scientist:

  • They are confident to use scientific vocabulary accurately during lessons and investigations - both written and verbally;
  • They have the ability to think deeply and raise questions when working scientifically, applying the knowledge and skills they have been taught;
  • They demonstrate a good understanding of a range of famous scientists, knowing how the work they have done has impacted on the present day and how it may impact future developments.
