How do I apply for a place at Seabridge Primary School for Nursery or Reception?
If you are applying before the Staffordshire County Council closing date please contact the school on 432530 or email [email protected] with yours and your child’s details. Further information can be found on the admission arrangements link to the right.
How old does my child need to be to start Nursery or Reception?
If you would like your child to start Nursery you child must be 3 years of age and their 4th Birthday must fall in that academic year. If you would like your child to start Reception, your child must be 4 years of age and their 5th Birthday must fall in that academic year.
What is the required school uniform and where do I purchase it from?
You can purchase the full school uniform from the Smart School Uniform shop in The Barracks, Newcastle Under Lyme. Children are required to wear a jumper or cardigan with the school logo along with a white polo shirt with the school logo, grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress. In Summer, the girls can wear a red and white checked dress.
PE t-shirts can also be purchased from here. The colour you purchase will depend on which team your child has been allocated. Fitness Friday uniform is purchased through the school office; this is made up of a black hoodie and a grey t-shirt.
Where do I find out about what my child’s Year group are currently studying?

How do I find information about the staff?

How do I apply for a work experience placement at the school?
Please contact the school direct with your details on either 01782 432530 or email by clicking here. If you are at college you will need to provide us with your tutors name and your course details via email.
How do I receive text messages and emails from the school?
You will need to register your details with ParentMail. Please contact the school office on 01782 432530 so that we can send you a link to register.
How do I pay for my child’s hot dinner, KS2 tuck and school trips?
All of the hot dinners and trips are paid through ParentPay. You will need to register to use ParentPay. Please contact the office on 01782 432530 for a registration letter.
What time do the children start and finish school?
Nursery children start at 9am.
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 (KS1) start at 8.55am.
Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 (KS2) start at 8.50am.
How do I report my child’s absence?
Please call the school on 01782 432530 and select the “report an absence” option before 9am on the day that your child is absent so that we can record the absence immediately.
How do I find out about the different events that are taking place?

We send out a monthly newsletter to our Parents. Please click here to view our weekly newsletters.
How do I arrange a meeting with my child’s class teacher?
If you would like to see your child’s class teacher then please feel free to pop in and ask when it would be convenient to meet with them or put a note in your child’s Home School Link Book. It is sometimes better to meet with them after school rather than in the morning as this is when the teacher will be setting the class ready for the day’s lessons. Alternatively, you can call the office and we’ll ask the teacher to contact you.
My child currently attends another school, how do I find out if Seabridge has any spare places for in year admissions?

How do I listen to Seabridge Radio?
Click here to listen to Seabridge Radio. We generally broadcast on a Friday from 12pm until 7pm but we are hoping to change this soon.
